Onlinekeukenveiling finds sustainability very important. We try to contribute as much as possible to a more sustainable world. We do this mainly by participating in the circular process and by continuing to look at ourselves. We like to give kitchens an extra life, do you too?

Circularity goes much further than recycling or sustainability. In circularity, waste is seen as a raw material for new products. The goal is to use the raw materials for as long as possible. It must be used at the lowest possible operational costs during the life cycle of the product. In short, a circular economy ensures that raw materials, components and products retain their value.

Currently we live in a linear economy. It is the exact opposite. We are constantly buying new products, using them and then throwing them away. This has a huge impact on our planet.

Onlinekeukenveiling participates in circularity. We do this by giving second-hand kitchens an extra life. Did you know that a quarter of Dutch people replace their kitchen when it is between 11 and 15 years old? Usually not because the kitchen no longer functions, but because it no longer fits in with the interior. A kitchen often lasts a long time and if it is in good condition, why would you throw it away? We are happy to help, so that it does not end up in the trash. Kitchens are given an extra life with us and we are happy to do that! We are extremely grateful that people want to help with the circular process.
